Emma Watson looked fantastic in the previews of her upcoming film, Beauty and the Beast. Her dress is what has everyone talking. It’s gold, iconic design is what makes it stand out; not to mention that Emma is the most perfect person to play the role.

According to custome designer Jacqueline Durran “[They] wanted the dress to feel like it could flout”. The dress is “something that references the animation” (of the original animated film) and it clearly shows. It’s beautiful multi-layers, multidimensional design has surprised many who didn’t anticipate Emma fulfilling the role so well.

The Beauty and the Beast will arrive in theaters March 17, 2017.
